Welcome to Stetson Wind, the renewable energy project in development for Maine’s Washington County. Building on Maine’s traditions of self-reliance and innovation, Stetson Wind will help establish the state as a national leader in clean energy production while providing a range of economic benefits to Washington and Penobscot counties.
The owners of Stetson Wind, First Wind, were recently recognized by the Maine State Chamber of Commerce for their vision and commitment to economic growth in Maine. Stetson Wind is one more example of First Wind’s ongoing mission to work with community members to create jobs, build local revenue and increase American energy independence.
